Invitation to Paint with Vegetables

This week we continued to discover all the goodies that warm weather and sunshine bring us by painting and stamping with vegetables. They had fun not only painting and stamping but discussing which veggies were their favorite and which ones were not! Mushrooms seemed to intrigue them the most as most had not eaten “one of those” before.

The smells of each veggie was a hot topic! Pepper’s smelled “spicy” and corn smelled “fresh or grassy”

I decided to leave one corn wrapped in its “jacket” and we passed it around to smell and feel. I and the kids both were surprised when we opened the corn and it had not fully grown! The others were fully grown and filled there “jacket” what happened to that corn that caused it to not grow as large!?
